Coaches Clinic Series
Participation in sports can have numerous positive outcomes for kids including better physical and mental health, forming new behavioral and social skills, and creating community. However, those positive developments cannot happen without the dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable volunteers in sports—coaches.
Each event in the series is held at:
6:30 to 8 p.m. PT
Hallie Ford Center, Room 115
Registration is
required, as space is limited.
Jan. 18 - Teambuilding and Culture
The second session of the Coaches Clinic Series will focus on
teambuilding and culture.
We will discuss and engage in activities that focus on how to support connection, encourage learning, and create communities. Participants will walk away with rituals, routines, and practices that they can do to support team culture.
Session Guest Co-Facilitator Bio:
Diana Curtaia is the founder of Coaching Peace, an organization that focuses on building positive and safe cultures to empower and lead with empathy and understanding. Her clients include Nike, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the NCAA, the Portland Trailblazers, the Women’s Sport Foundation, Up2Us Sports, along with several school districts and corporations.
